They do indeed. Question is why do they blame the EU and even immigrants?

Because I doubt they have any real idea of how the EU works and what it does, and statistically areas most strongly LEAVE were those with least immigrants (this makes sense, because immigrants are drawn here by the work so you wouldn't expect them to gravitate towards the more impoverished areas where there will be less of this.
Either they have that perception because of the impression given by the media or they don't really care and just wanted to cast a protest vote regardless of the issue at stake. Which makes the whole thing a bit (more) of a farce.
