Not sure about that

Surely mutual recognition of professional qualifications within the EU makes it preferable to recruit nurses from within the EU rather than outside? It must be a much more arduous process to assure the standard of professional qualifications from outside the EU. Also, I can't say I've ever met a nurse who doesn't speak a word of English, and trusts certainly wouldn't be required to recruit them without it.
