17 to work on a farm and after the war eventually made his way to Sheffield and, due to the communists taking over, was never able to go back. Jools was brought up here as English.
She was really upset, in tears, watching the news on Friday when some fat chav from Peterborough was banging on about the bloody Poles being responsible for some bakers shop closing after 130 years. I've never seen her like that.
It wasn't the result necessarily that upset me but the realisation of what a horribly divided country we'ver become
