I think she feels she can persuade the EU to accept Scotland as an independent state and hold a referendum off the back of that.

But actually turnout in Scotland was not as big, a lot of people voted to leave and opinion polls recently have suggested Scots less likely to vote for independence in the event of Brexit. Oh plus of course oil prices are f**ked!
