If he had any decency he would resign.

His total lack of leadership over the last few weeks has been staggering. He is totally unelectable and he knows it. He will single-handedly keep the Tories in power for as long as he stays. What's worse is that he knows this, but his arrogance won't allow him to resign. My brother-in-law (a Tory councillor) refers to him as 'the gift that keeps giving'.
