the inevitable result of neo-liberalism

the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. There is very little middle ground - nearly everyone comes into one category or the other.
You can see it in the US too. The two halves of society have almost no common ground so whatever the government does about half the population will be f***ing pissed off.
