Two problems with that - After the expenses fiasco how can we trust them

When most seem to look after number one and secondly if the voters are ill informed why are they allowed to vote in general elections cause I don't know anybody who reads the party manifesto's - most just watch the news and read biased newspapers. The public voted in to the common market so they should be allowed to vote out surely unless someone on here said they should take an IQ test to allow them to vote?
