Out Bashing

Poisoning the well (or attempting to poison the well) is a fallacy where adverse information about a target is preemptively presented to an audience, with the intention of discrediting or ridiculing everything that the target person is about to say.

I have been surprised* by how many liberals that want to remain in EU feel the need to resort to calling people c**ts/racists/xenophobic because they choose to leave the EU.

Especially given that none of us(0 - including those at the top of the political pyramid) know all the intricacies and waterfall effects of remaining or leaving. It's impossible to handle that many variables.

I don't care which way you voted and I'm certainly not going to call anyone names, I just hope whatever we've all picked will be good for the country and the generations to come , cos that's what this should be about isn't it?
