Right right right, so I forgot. When the clerk took my polling card, she read out

my number to her mate, and she wrote that down, next to the serial number of the ballot paper she gave me, on a piece of paper that was prefilled with a table of ballot paper serial numbers. So, there now exists a piece of paper that can be used to link my filled-in ballot paper with my name and address. The f**k? Is this usual for elections, and I've just not noticed before?
