Well to those of us living in mainland yurp, it's very much idealistic. Probably the

drivers are not idealism but the result is fantastic. It's a way of life we've come to take for granted. Travelling to or doping a bit of work in Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany or France (all achievable in less than 3 hrs) is no different to you lot doing the same in Birmingham.
