sure, there is the risk of a dead rubber, but they were not so common before. And you even had one in this tournament with the France v Switzerland game.

I think its great when one or two smaller nations are there - like Latvia, Greece, Austria, Slovenia have in the last few editions. But when there are 10 teams like that, all desperate to scrape together 3 or 4 points through defensive football, it becomes a bit tedious. That's what qualifiers are for.
