not sure I agree with the conclusions, as its a bit UK centric - many other countries have an alternative left wing path outside of the EU.

And the EU in its current form is well designed to prevent any working class movement from sweeping across Europe to make any real change - as shown by the way it quickly moved to crush Greece.
