Of the countries I've been to we're up there with the worst, definitely.

I always though when returning to Britain via Dover and you drive through all the security cameras how uncivilised and brutal it all was, and that's with free movement around the EU. But in South Africa (Cape Town) every large house, and some smaller ones, have signs proclaiming "armed response" plastered all over their walls. Nairobi isn't quite that bad but you see a lot of guards around places like Karen.
