No Jim, a recession does make us, as a country, worse off (that's a fact)

that's pretty much agreed what will happen (the FTSE has been falling and so has the pound with every poll that shows a Leave lead)

from that lower base most independant economic forecasts agree that we will grow at a slower rate, therefore we will be worse off than compared to if we stay in (the do nothing option)

as for needing less jobs due to the population not growing so fast, well, those of us that remain in this country, we'll just all have to pay more taxes to cover the ever rising pensions of the longer living pensioners
