It is also the youngest squad at the tournament

and a squad with very little tournament experience.

I'm not a massive fan of Hodgson, nor am I opposed to him being in charge, however I do think that he has picked a squad that not everyone would have gone with and I think he has made bold decisions.

He has tried out a number of different formations and the way we play is light years ahead of the turgid crap we were forced to endure under McLaren and Capello.

I also happen to think he is building with 2018 and 2020 in mind and that the future of this squad is positive and hopeful.

He should probably have brought Vardy on for Kane at some point but it doesn't make him a bad manager. Replacing Sterling with Milner? Doesn't make him a bad manager.

Squad looks happy, together, focused and hungry. I find it hard to be massively negative right now.
