I don't believe our finances are in s**t state

having seen the most recent annual accounts - there's been nothing that we've seen to break the balance sheet between those being published and now.

Rather, our better players might want to stay in the Prem, and really there's not much we can do about that. I'm sure we've offered them good deals to stay, within the confines of our wage structure; we're not going to be able to compete on package with teams with a serious benefactor (and even Bristol now falls into that camp).

It's not a "fire sale", though.
