Otherwise I don't know what you're talking about. We did employ a CEO who knows about football but we are currently looking for a new one and in the interim we don't have one.
Who else should we have been employing, and doing what exactly (in the past, not now)? Some football person to sit about on the off chance that McNally left?
There is definitely an argument that there isn't enough football knowledge on the board, but since that isn't McNally's fault (board appointments are down to shareholders) I don't see why he should get the blame for it?
