but I don't think that clubs should keep a manager just because they can't think of anyone better.
For what its worth, I personally would look in the lower leagues for managers who are doing well at their teams, who like playing decent football and who would surely jump at the chance of managing a club with our fanbase and potential for being a prem side. Don't forget, Worthington got Blackpool relegated before coming here and that didn't stop us hiring him so a manager who has his side near the top of the division couldn't be too bad could he?
Alternatively, you could look at managers who are out of work. This may not be a popular choice but Keegan has presided over some promotion campaigns in his managerial career, he gets teams playing attacking football and I would jump at the chance of having him over Worthington.
