..a Samsung M3 Drive, which is plugged in to an old PC. I share the device so i can access the videos/photos on any other device in my house.

You can get a 2TB one for about ?65 and for about ?110 you can get a 4TB, and it runs off the PCs power source.

To access it on my ios devices, i use an app called File Explorer and then just go to the shared drive.

I bought the full version as it plays all different types of video files. The free one only plays mp4 videos.
