Yes, I remember that. Actually, it was quite refreshing to see them attempt other ways to bring in players while they attempted to stabilise the finances. All were ultimately futile it seems, but quickly abandoned.

Right now, I wouldn't argue too much if a bit of short term debt was paid off - provided the cash could be reborrowed on longer terms for next season.

Really, I just want Worthy out and I don't want to see the money spent while he's still here. I don't see any point in buying players now - we're being asked for silly money; so better to wait until seasons end.
