In my singleton days I used to run right regular with a bossy young lady

right out the city, down past the asda, then round the ring road, back in down Earlham Rud and all over.

Her bossiness was the prime reason I did it. I literally couldn't call a run off. She'd turn up on the doorstep and nag. Ideal running mate. I might see if she'll train me again.

I heed your warning about correct footwear, as I did my aforementioned runs in battered old adidas and after 8 weeks my knee did click more than robocop.

I'll get my toe talons trimmed and get down the gait shop.
