Transfer payments may seem okay but I wages are well under most comparable clubs

Could you imagine the discussion about playing Jermaine Defoe ?90,000 a week? Even if it was a free transfer you just know they wouldn't want to come close.

I don't think transfer budget is the problem, it's the wages budget that puts people off
