The first (a list of "mercenaries") includes, for example, Robbie Fowler. Who isn't foreign. The second doesn't mention nationality at all, and the third prays in aid the behaviour of Phil Bardsley. Also not foreign.
My point remains. Why draw attention to the nationality of players not felt to be pulling their weight? If they're not pulling their weight then criticise away. But to include the fact that they're not British, implying that their foreignness is somehow germane to their perceived lack of effort or improper motivation, is ascribing characteristics based solely on race.
Is there a different definition of racism?
