Ryan Bennett - the myth

Ryan Bennett seems to get a lot of love on here but I really can't see it. I think he's a pretty average championship defender at best. He Martin and Bassong are pretty much of a muchness. All pretty slow, not comfortable in possession and prone to a mistake.
Whilst he looked better with Klose alongside him we can't rely on one CB to hold the other ones hand we need 2 centre backs who are leaders in their own right. I also think we need some pace at the back. The number of times we get caught with simple balls in behind our centre backs is alarming.
