I dont disagree with any of your points but the big question is this.......

Is the club in a far better position than when he took over......of course...

I think the good stuff achieved vastly outweighed the bad mistakes.

Its the same with managers...... nobody remembers Roeders first season when he escaped from an almost impossible position using just loan players....
