McNally AND Bowkett fixed the finances but only due to Lambert getting us promoted

Its not like the club came up with some revolutionary way of increasing turnover to pay off our debts through sales, restaurant revenues or commercial deals. Whilst I am sure we are a much tighter ship all round now, we basically got promoted twice and then cleared the debts with the tv money. So credit to him for appointing Lambert, credit to him for making sure Lambert (and Hughton) were backed with the resources they needed to get us into the top flight and keeping us there for a couple of seasons but its not exactly rocket science to get a business into a debt free status when you get a ?70m hand out every season for doing nothing and have 27,000 fans who will turn up however good or sh*t we are.
