Yeah I thought it was good (SPOILERS)

Nothing jaw-dropping but a good way to move things forward. Interesting how a lot of "our" characters are at a low point: Sansa, Dany, Jon, Arya will all obviously go up from where they are.

Dorne bits pissed me off. In the books there's a very delicate political story going on there. In the show there was that carcrash last season ("bad pussy"? Seriously?) and it feels like they realised they'd f**ked up and just decided to kill everyone and be done with it quickly. All the nuance of the books done away with.

Sansa and Stannis will unite the North against the Boltons. Brienne's oath was very symbolic as for me it was the start of Sansa's growth into her role of Queen of the North - from airhead little girl to mature ruler is how I see her arc being.

I don't know Arya's endgame and I hope it's not that she will die, though I suspect she might. For sure she will come through this training a real "badass" assassin though.

Jon may come back through Mel sacrificing herself to bring him back - don't know but that would play nicely in the show (in the books, not so much).

In the meantime, the wildlings will come back and kick ass and hopefully Ghost eats that little s**t Oly. Dolorous Edd will be the next Lord Commander.

Theon clearly has a role to play in the Iron Islands. In the show, Yara may use him as a proxy; in the books it's more complex (like everything).

Dany, Drogon, etc - we know what's coming, just a question of when and how.

Tyrion will coach Missandei and Grey Worm in the art of running a city and with Varys' help get rid of the Sons of the Harpy - though that won't be straightforward and I expect bumps along that road. I think longterm Miss/GW will be left in charge of Mereen as Dany and Tyrion go to Westeros.

Jamie and Cersei, I cared about much less, but we've seen photos of them and Mace Tyrell going to Baelor's Sept and I think Margaery (?and Loras? Tommen?) will convert to the Faith of the Seven. Not sure how that's going to play out really.

Bran is now a Jedi Master and I think we'll see some of that next episode. Of course R+L=J and that will play out (??is Meera Jon's twin??).

Who the f**k was Rickon again?

Who have I missed? If I get a hit rate of 20% on the above I'll think I've done OK...
