Perhaps I've not been clear but I don't disagree with you at all. I am guessing you think I mean keep wages low, but that's not my point at all.

I take exception to the idea (that I see in a lot of places) that it's employing minimum wage staff that is the problem. I think that's insulting to people who only earn minimum wage. I don't believe it's the staff at all, it's the attitude of the employers and cutting everything to the bone. Understaffing things so that people have to rush from job to job instead of having staffing levels that let people do their job at a proper pace.

PLUS boost wages where you can, obviously.

But the idea that someone earning minimum wage is somehow a 'poorer' employee compared to someone lucky enough to be able to earn more is ridiculous.
