They'll have made millions from other punters backing the usual suspects to win the league. They won't mind paying out the odd five figure sum here and there. It will leave them much better off than they would have been if one of the big boys had won - very few people will actually have backed Leicester to win the league, probably no more than a handful, and of those many will have cashed out already (which is almost always the wrong choice - lay against it on the exchange if you want to hedge you'll almost always be much better off than cashing out).
