ha! Got an upgrade once...

...on an internal US flight, that lasted all of 30 minutes, but free wine pre-take off in a wine GLASS.

I did ask why cattle class got fobbed off with plastic knives because 'metal is a terrorist risk' whilst the suits in business got given ready made glass weapons, but I was told that they might be able to find a seat in economy after all so I dropped that line of enquiry!
