RE All schools becoming academies........... ...........

- Parent governors will be removed from school boards so that parents don't get a say in the running of the school.

- The school can hire people with no teaching qualifications to teach the kids. These cost less to hire than qualified teachers.

- The people who run the school can pay themselves huge wages out of the school budget.

- Schools won't be required to expand to cope with growing numbers of local people because the schools will be outside of the control of the local council.
