Yes, I guessed so, and I wasn't after a debate anyway

....not since he called me Professor a while back, the cheeky barst.

Steve - you coach American Football, right? Answer me sommat.

I used to chuckle at Yankee commentators going spotty about how well (or how badly) a wide receiver had played, simply based on how many times the guy had caught (or dropped) a ball coming to him on the run. I used to imagine how long a footballer'd last if he failed to carry out the one thing he was on the pitch for - and then I remembered how many midfielders can't pass the ball ten yards to a teammate (and that Palmer played for England), and stopped laughing.

Without going into any but the most basic detail, am I misjudging Gridiron? Am I missing as much as I suggest Andy is in Sarker?

I watched the game a bit when we started showing it waaaaaaaaaaaay back and was entertained to a point, right up until I began to work out what they were trying to achieve - and then I lost interest completely.
