for a start the clamour for holt was at the last euros, not the world cup

and holt had a fairish case for inclusion. the fact that he didnt take him doesnt justify the decision now.

and hodgson should bear in mind that he's had 2 tournaments now (albeit not with much time to prep for the first) and got next to nowhere. so he's not really speaking from a position of authority
