It is ridiculously unfair. I'm sorry she's having such a rotten time.

I had a similar experience at one school. I kept notes and wrote a letter expressing my concerns as I was intimidated and dismissed when I tried talking. I copied in the head who interviewed me. He was pretty weak about the whole thing and his solution was that I go to him and avoid talking to the teacher concerned (the deputy). It was unworkable and in the end I left. Honestly it was the best thing ever!

It's lovely to be working with normal people again. I hadn't realised how miserable and how undermined she'd made me feel. I could have stayed and battled on but life is much too short for that.

Good luck to your wife. I hope it gets sorted and she comes out the other side feeling happy.
