Just read a pretty interesting thread that contains some comments about Mike Ashley,

And his business/personal dealings with Alan Pardew. Some may already know about it but it's pretty explicit in its detail and very libellous.

For that reason I won't post a direct link but if you go to reddit, find the sub /r/soccer, there's a thread called 'The reasons behind Newcastle fans dislike of Mike Ashley'. The initial post is nothing much but there's some comments further down that may be of interest.
