If they were men only tournaments, would they be more, equally, or less commercially valuable than they are at the moment?

How would it affect the crowds/sponsorship/tv deal to have less matches per tournament. Or to not feature the Sharapovas or Kournikovas of the world? (Scandals notwithstanding)

Looking at things in the round, in most cases I'd say that the women are a significant contributor (if not sometimes just as important) to its overall commercial success as the men, so deserve equal prize money.

No way would Wimbledon be able to get away with being men-only, for instance, so if the women aren't as profitable to the organisers that's just something they have to suck up. Not all divisions/departments of a given business will be as equally profitable as the rest.
