You're obsessed with the diamond!

The problem with playing the diamond with our current personnel is that it makes us less robust/defensively sound. When we do play that way, we get opened up too easily and our defence is under too much pressure. Opposition goals follow.

Neil has obviously decided that in our present position, becoming harder to beat gives us the best chance of grinding out/nicking results. It won't be pretty at times, but it has been more effective of late and the points are starting to come.
