Ha! He has a point. And sorry Gran's Canary and AC - the fault is clearly with me.

I obviously want England to win as much as the next person but whenever I try to watch a match, all I can see is a lot of big blokes trying to run with a funny shaped ball but not getting very far as every second they are stopped by another big bloke in what I can only describe as 'rough play'. (Something we'd never allow on the playground). If that isn't happening, then the ref seems to be randomly blowing his whistle and stopping the game or they are deliberately kicking it of play. Then when I've finally had enough of all this nonsense and turnover, one of them will charge straight up to the line and score a try. So I give up!
