I don't see how one manager failing to capitalise on the finances available proves anything. The Russian investment put them in a position to be promoted under the right management - without it they wouldn't be in the Premiership. Teams who are not being bankrolled do not get FFP fines.

Also, your analogy to Leeds is weak. I certainly don't think we somehow deserve our PL status because of our size. I just people to see how they've achieved it. I'm full of respect for Swansea who have achieved success on a much more sustainable basis.

I don't begrudge them their success, I just want the media to recognise their QPR-style approach.
