Very well put Jim. It was his 'relegation would be worse than death' period

and most commentators thought the handling (or rather timing) of Hughton was ridiculous.
If we are relegated will be interesting to see if he qualifies for a bonus again this season.
The Smiths seem to think he is wonderful. He in turn keeps telling us theyre the best owners in football, knowing that new owners would probably want a new Chief Exec. Am sure that cosy little relationship is even stronger now that Bowkett has gone.
