Lambert or McNally? Mcnally rightly takes credit for appointing him thus must take some blame for letting him go.
Lambert must take credit for getting it right on the pitch as without back to back promotions we would never have readdressed the dire finances.
McNally further enhanced the financial improvements by using his business acumen.
These things are not black or white. However to me and it's only my opinion we should not have the 7th highest paid CEO in the premier league as it is disproportionate when compared with out financial clout in other areas. Other very well run clubs with very well respected CEO's pay considerably less yet have bigger turnovers etc.
Bottom line is McNally has done good and bad at the club and we will only really find out how much is down to him if and when he leaves and more to the point if the custodians of NCFC (as they like to call themselves) are prepared to pay him that amount then fair play to him as most sane people want to get paid as much as possible for what we do so can't blame him for the size of his pay packet.
