James Forrest

See the papers are saying again that we are in pole position to sign James Forrest from Celtic in the summer on a bosman. Celtic fans are delighted as they don't rate him, they think he runs like pheobie from friends!!

I've not seen a huge amount of him but not convinced he'll be any better than the Murphy brothers and can only imagine that he'll be a dam sight more expensive in wages and signing on fees. Especially if we go down its time to give the lads a go.

Few players who come down from Scotland nowadays do a huge amount which just emphasises how poor league is up there. Boyd, Ferguson, Andreau, Goodwillie, smith, Whittaker, Fotheringham to name just a few.

Alex Neil's transfer policy is showing signs of being Peter Grant esque in terms of the number of scots or players based in Scotland we have sign/linked with.
