went there in 2006 for the world cup

seemed nice, though one of those places we bombed to smithereens (bar the big cathedral) in the war so not too much old stuff about. lots of bars along the rhine. they seemed quite proud of the local type of beer (Kolsch) but i couldnt see what the fuss was about compared to the other stuff they knock out over there
