as a general rule

when its been a season where the club has been in a position at the end of the season when promotion is a possiblitiy we normally achieve it ( Cardiff the exception that proves the rule )

and when its a season when we are in a relegation dogfight we don't normally get out of it ( 73 the exception again )

would we generally agree on that
