Honestly, we have to try it

To me Bamford looks like a player who needs a long run of games at this level to have any chance of progressing to where he should be. Usually I would say we can't afford to let a player learn on our watch, a bit like Kane in 2012/2013 (he got it at Spurs in late 2013/2014 and blossomed), but right now nothing else is working and it has to be worth a try.
