The harsh reality is sinking in, but I still believe

How many of our team today would get a game at Swansea? Redmond would be around the squad, but wouldn't start ahead of their options. Anyone else? Don't think so. People want us to go their and boss them off the park?

We scrapped today and if Redmond has rolled his shot in rather than just wide, we might have got a point. In fact we had a few half chances at the end to save ourselves. Wasn't a great performance, but in such a high pressure game was it ever going to be? It wasn't, for me, the kind of performance that makes me call for heads to roll.

Those calling for the manager to go need to consider that the great Alardici has a better squad and is only one point ahead of us. We'd need a combination of Jesus, Carl Sagan and Pep to turn this squad into mid tablers.

Yet despite all this, we have a chance of surviving, still.
