I don't think Mbokani even offers that much more of a goal threat. He is more clinical, but Jerome's movement gets him in threatening positions more often, so he doesn't have to be as clinical to score as many.
Obviously Jerome's on a poor run of form in front of goal at the moment, but that probably won't last. There was little wrong with his finishing last year after all.
