A lot of people seem to be placing a lot of stock in us playing well

Personally I couldn't give a s**t
All about results for me I'd rather we play s**t and win than well and lose, and clearly playing well doesn't mean well get anything from games. Doing well for 80 odd minutes count for nothing when we have the inevitable brain fart and let sides in for a cheeky winner or equaliser, West Ham twice or Liverpool or Leicester
It's no coincidence we had our best set of results when we stopped playing so "attractively" and took a bit more pragmatic approach after Newcastle.
