How many teams actually "become" mid table prem teams over the long term?

Excluding the established clubs such as Everton and Villa (which is coming to an end), most clubs go through short term cycles of success and struggle, which includes relegation.

Even if we stay up, it's going to be a struggle to achieve that status, because the club simpy doesn't have the money to compete, even with the bottom teams.
