main reason to keep him. He's not useless at this level, far from it. But he is still learning.
As for others being available, wanting to come etc, not much point listing them if they wouldn't be realistically available to us, either in or out of employment.
The point I was making, is sacking is not always the answer. Especially without better replacements available.
I agree with you that there should be a backup plan though, and I'm sure there would be. McNally doesn't seem like the kind of person to not think stuff like this through. Last time the fans got rid of Worthy and Hughton and things took a while to turn around again. Let's have a bit of patience and see what investing in SAN long term achieves.
